We continue our preparations with a new striker. Nardin Mulahusejnović, the second new footballer in this year's transfer period, in figures: 20 years old, 191 cm, 83 kg. He came to our club from HŠK Zrinjski Mostar, but in the spring part of the Bosnia and Herzegovina Championship he played as a loaned footballer for GOŠK from Gabela. His statistics: 14 matches, 7 goals (he also scored for HŠK Zrinjski Mostar).
"The young footballer from Bosnia and Herzegovina has shown talent as soon as he entered the game and has seized the opportunity at both of last year's matches against HŠK Zrinjski Mostar. We have monitored his further development and decided to bring him to NK Maribor. Nardin has had an excellent half of the season behind him for the team from Gabela and represents our project for the future," Zlatko Zahovič, the club's sports director, presented the new footballer at Ljudski vrt.
A four-year contract was signed and Mulahusejnović joined the team at Friday's afternoon training. Nardin Mulahusejnović on the purple challenge: "My first impressions are excellent and I believe it is going to remain that way. Mešanović and Pirić, who left Mostar for Maribor before me, told me many good things about this club. I remember the excellent vibe at the stadium at last year's guest match, when I was still wearing the football jersey of HŠK Zrinjski Mostar. I know what awaits me. An excellent and ambitious team with extraordinary competition during the strike. My task is to prove myself with committed work, and to endeavour to earn the trust of my coach and help the team. In the first half of the previous season, I did not play much, so I left for Gabela in agreement with the club. Regular playing in the spring part of the season was good for me; it brought three matches in the U-21 selection and now the transfer to NK Maribor. I am glad to be here and I am very motivated to work hard."
